Brand wound down
BossLabs was a specialist studio offering Unity game-performance optimisation — helping game publishers and indie developers squeeze the most out of their builds across the platforms they shipped to. The brand operated alongside the FlameDev direct work as a focused, services-only outfit.
Public-facing portfolio and services site: what BossLabs did, who it did it for, recent case studies, and a contact route into the team. Brochure-shape rather than a platform — the work happened in the engagement, the website's job was to land the conversation.
A fast, low-maintenance static site rather than another bespoke CMS — the brief was "sharp brochure that loads instantly and never needs patching", not "another platform to keep alive for a decade".
The BossLabs brand was wound down so the studio could refocus on direct client work and product builds. The site is kept online as a record of the work that was done under that name.
